Our dolphin watching trip started very early in the morning, so we were up before the sun was up. When we arrived at Baclayon Pier, the sun was just peeking on the horizon. Feeling the fresh air on your skin and smelling the sweet smell of the sea, combined with witnessing the sun as it rises above the sky, make you look forward to the day’s adventure.

One of the should-not-be-missed destinations in Bohol is the Loboc River Cruise, where the famed floating restaurants can be found. The cruise starts from a point close to the Loboc Church, and from there, it is an hour or so boat ride upstream that ends near a small waterfalls locally known as “Busay Falls.”

The Bohol provincial council has finally taken action to protect its most priced attraction, the tarsiers, through an ordinance that allows the viewing of these unique creatures only at the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella, Bohol.
