Vigan Heritage Village, Ilocos Sur

Vigan was part of our Ilocos to Pangasinan tour. We first explored Laoag, went up north to Pagudpod to enjoy the serene white beach there, then travelled south to Batac to visit Vigan Heritage Village, Ilocos SurMarcos Museum, Vigan, and finally, Pangasinan.

Vigan Heritage Village is where Ilocos region’s rich culture and history are crafted in ornate architecture, furniture and detailed ornaments. Vigan at Night

Vigan Heritage Village at night, Ilocos SurA trip to Vigan is a trip to the past. Traversing the streets of Vigan Heritage Village at night makes that trip extra special.

We were told that visitors could rent a kalesa to tour Vigan Heritage Village up until 9 p.m. and that it’s the best way to experience the townscape, so that’s what we did. Continue reading Vigan at Night
